What is Australian Gamer? Australian Gamer is for people all over Australia who are into games, into gaming, or just into the same sort of things things that we're into. One of the major reasons we chose to create Australian Gamer is that we feel Australia is ignored and insulted as a market. Our goal is to track down and question the stupid marketing that we are forced to deal with, and hopefully make some sort of improvement, or at the very least provide similarly disgruntled gamers a place to vent. Every update will bring a new comic. Occasionally it will even be funny. Every update will bring a new article, our regular rant on the state of the australian gaming scene. We are australian gamers ourselves. We're not biased towards any one console, but feel every console has merit, and are big into the retro scene. |

Matt is the brains of the operation. A spectacled programmer by day, and with all the sex-appeal that comes with that. Looks like a cross between Harry Potter and Montgomery Burns. Eeexcellent. Writes a lot of the cartoon scripts, writes the articles and most of the reviews, designed the review database system. Spends most of the time trying to get Yug to stop preening himself in the mirror. |
Yug is the beauty and the heart. Flashy, young, hip and happening. Only gaming when he's not clubbing or sleeping it off. Drives a silver convertible and clearly watches more Queer Eye than a regular person should. Often distracted by shiny objects, flashing lights, or anything prettier than he is. Yug also draws the cartoons and writes contributing articles. With small words. Spelled badly. |

| When I'm inspired by a good idea I run it past Yug. Generally it takes a while to explain it to him, then I have to try to stop him taking all the actual humour out of it. Eventually I get through to him and go and write the article that links with the comic. In the meantime he stuffs a pen up his arse and shits out a comic. | Matt comes to me babbling about something stupid. Together we work out a way to turn his wierd idea into something resembling a comic. While I spend hours working on the intricate details of the comic art, Matt sits in his room playing Mario or making snide comments. Eventually he gets around to spending a few minutes scribbling down some poorly researched "article". |
