Anna was born to a family that nurtured her within a safe, gaming environment. By the green glow of an old Compaq, she learnt the ancient art of point-and-click with the help of Guybrush and friends. Snarky and occasionally violent when threatened, she takes her principles quite seriously. Anna is also known for her overly optmistic outlook on life, however, this has been proven to be a by-product of continuous procrastination and the knowledge that things will eventually work out for the best.
What is your most memorable gaming experience?
Just the memory of, as a kid, sitting on my dad's knee, with my siblings around me, navigating the old DOS system and going through the Monkey Island and Indiana Jones series together. Beautiful.
Where would you be found on a typical Friday night?
Like AJ, it'd be either footy, a movie or overloading on a game, recent or otherwise.
What is your favourite movie?
By far, The Princess Bride, closely followed by Indiana Jones (Last Crusade or Lost Ark, didn't like Temple of Doom so much), Star Wars OT, LOTR trilogy, Back to the Future, the list goes on..
What is your favourite food?
Lasagna warmed up from the night before ^^ or pizza. Nothing beats leftovers.
What is your favourite drink?
Bubble Tea! Passionfruit or Peach Green tea with pearls. Lovefruit if I'm feeling lonely.
What are your favourite 5 games of all time, and why?
- Age of Empires II : This game brings years of memories. Just as something I've never stopped playing, even with AOE III out.
- Monkey Island I : Adorkable in all senses of the word. While the sequels were fantastic, the original was the best.
- Neverwinter Nights : I've spent four or more years playing this and I'm still finding new content to play. It's not just the game that makes it my favourite but the entire community behind it.
- Tetris : I still find myself, when bored, trying to work out the best strategy when faced with an L block and no nice slots...
- Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic : Both games have been regularly replayed several times over. Seriously. Role playing + Star Wars = Absolute devotion.
