I am female and if asked to present my age in numerals it would look like this ; 20. I am the proud owner of three toasters. Just in case I need 12 pieces of toast at the same time. I played games professionally under the title of Monkey Kong. I am a freelance writer who indulges in a lot of political based work. I don’t wear glasses, or like mushrooms.
What is your most memorable gaming experience?
At a party. Late at night. Retired to someone’s room to play Lion King on SNES. Unfortunately my inhuman powers of superiority did not encompass gaming that night. After a good 20 minutes of trying to get past a point in a level, I finally did it - only to have a girl walk past the screen and trip up the controller from SNES. The game froze. Memorable because I slipped and fell on orange peel while getting up to yell at her.
Where would you be found on a typical Friday night?
... Actually playing games. Or at a friends/bar/gig if I feel motivated.
What is your favourite movie?
The Birds. For it’s political references to Nuclear War.
What is your favourite food?
Exploded Mars Bars. Hint: They explode in microwaves.

Caramel Cookie shakes from Soda Rock, Chapel st.
What are your favourite 5 games of all time, and why?
- Yoshi’s Island
- Bioshock : Great music score, story and game play.
- Duke Nukem DOS : Takes only two hours to marvel and finish the epic platformer
- Gears of war : Brutal
- Radical Rex : A dinosaur that can skateboard?!... That’s actually pretty boring. But I loved it as a child, and still do.
