World of Warcraft Neverending Review

Introduction : PART 1 ( Page 1 : Page 2 : Page 3 : Page 4 ) PART 2 ( Page 1 : Page 2 : Page 3 : Page 4
The last few weeks I have been playing I have noticed that there have been a number of Halloween themed decorations and general craziness around the place. Jack-o-Lanterns and candles are around every town. You go to any inn and ask the inn keeper for a trick or treat. If it's a treat, you might get something like a mask or skeleton costume to wear, or special candy bars or food treats. If it's a trick, you get turned into a creature and can't actually do anything for a certain period of time. I find great amusement in the fact that so far, I have only gotten treats, and Matt has only gotten tricks.

The fact that there are all these extra features however really makes the game feel a lot more current and up to date than it actually is, which is great. Plus there is something cool about running around wearing a female gnome mask!

I'm now at level 24, still cruising through the quests nicely, occasionally teaming up with Matt or other random people for mutual beneficial quests. I've gained the ability to morph into a giant cat like thing, and look forward to working out how to use that as best I can in combat. I don't really do much socialising except when I am part of a group working on the same quest, and I rarely see any other guild members because I am still one of the lower ranked among them. I would be keen to set up some sort of 'Australian Gamer' guild in the future perhaps, but that all depends how many World of Warcraft fans we have reading the site.

I will continue this review probably once I reach around level 40, so until then, keep playing, and maybe I will see you in the game.
