I have to admit. Microsoft sure do know how to throw a party.
To celebrate the launch of Bungies final installment to the Halo trilogy, Microsoft Australia sought to throw a
Red vs Blue Charity Party at the Art Factory on Oxford Street in Sydney.
So, dressed to impressed, I rocked up to the place with good mate Jooney in tow. And what a different world unfolded to us as we entered. Celebrities galore, promo chicks as far as the eye could see, gigantic Samsung LCD’s with 360’s hooked up showcasing Halo 3, music pumping but most importantly an open bar saw me quickly regret my decision to drive. Jooney was most happy with the decision.
We met some friends from XBoxZone.com.au immediately upon entry, and it took me all of 39 seconds from there to switch on the camera, and go Documentary style.

And here we have the rare celebrity party. Look around at the darkened environment with strobe lighting that helps less attractive and less famous males to approach the remarkable female.
See as the females in her glamorous outfits attracts the male with startling ease.
Even as the male seeks to impress with his differing hair styles, the female simply stuns her prey with outrageous and unique variances.
Watch as two males seek to differentiate themes. It’s clearly recognisable who ‘The Alpha Man’ in this photograph is.
This group of ‘footballus celebritites’, a physically superior specimen of male, guard their wounded pack leader.
This young ‘nerdus haloist’ successfully draws three of the more dazzling ‘modelus hottus’ within the mingling group of celebrities.
Amazing. This ‘Erinus McHottus’ is an extremely rare specimen. Look at the incredible hair and striking smile as she poses with the ‘nerdus haloist’.
The gorgeous ‘Shevon Auran’ attacks the ‘nerdus haloist’ with a Fury-like attack as they fight for dominance in Halo 3. Quite breath taking. Watch her overawe the young male ‘nerdus’ with her charm.
The larrikin of the male nerdus is certainly an interesting bonding ritual.
*Ahem*
The night was pretty good. The whole ‘Charity’ thing was an arm wrestle right at the beginning, as well as MS auctioning off 360 consoles with amazing covers of famous musicians. It was definitely a PR night, and although I wouldn’t class it as a ground breaking event for gaming, it certainly does make for an enjoyable night.
Enjoy the pictures!
