WWE Survivor Series Tour of Australia 2008 Interview
Interview from Cav - Sunday, 06 January 2008 @ 10:24am
Drew showed up and took us through to the media room. While waiting, Drew actually gave me a sneak peak at an Xbox 360 console which was airbrushed and signed by all of the Superstars on the tour. The console was to be presented to the winner of a competition in ZOO Magazine during the night’s performance. I wiped the drool form the corner of my mouth as he packed it away. A Red Bull and a quick Parking Lot Brawl match on the Xbox360 and the interviews were about to begin. Leaving the best to last, I got to have a few words with Raw Superstars Lance Cade and Trevor Murdock, just before they went back to their locker room to prepare for their match. Knowing that time was short and that these guys had been pounded for the last couple of day with repetitive questions, I knew, that as a representative of Australian Gamer, I had to ask the questions that were important to my readers:

Me and Tag Champs: (L-R) Lance Cade / CAV / Trevor Murdock
CAV: Greetings Guys, I’m Cav from Australian Gamer, just a couple of quick ones: Who is the biggest gaming nerd out of you two?
CAV: Systems owned?
CAV: Merry Christmas!
CAV: (Struggles to think of the word ‘Genre’) Favourite gaming type? Fighting? Shooting?
CAV: The new one is coming out, Four is looking good.
CAV: I picked that up on the Wii yesterday
CAV: Now you have a Wii, you have to try it on that, it will be excellent. Next question: Are they as heavy as they look? Your belts?
CAV: (Surprised by its weight) Fwoar!
CAV: Now history has been great for the WWE, and it’s been bad, but what do you see for the future for the WWE?
CAV: Guys thanks for your time, I know you have to go. Good Luck!
From there we filed out to the main room where I got the opportunity to meet a few more WWE stars and score an autograph of two. Mickie James, the Highlanders and the great Hacksaw Jim Duggan were there to meet, with Hacksaw seeing us off with his trademark “HHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!” and a thumbs up salute. With the show about to start, I made it promptly to my seat, with my overpriced drink and soggy chips. I recommend seeing one of these shows just once if you are not a fan, just to see what it is all about. The atmosphere is awesome and the show and pyrotechnics are amazing.

Me and the Highlanders (L-R) Rory McAllister / CAV / Robbie McAllister
A big thank you to the guys at THQ Australia, namely Paul and especially Drew, for this great opportunity. Big props to the WWE Superstars and their efforts for the night too.
