Surprise, surprise!
Says research going on at Harvard University revealed in a book titled
Grand Theft Childhood: The Surprising Truth About Violent Video Games And What Parents Can Do.
Apparently, they "talked to the kids" - something no study had done before in researching the link between violent behaviour and video games.
However, and this is the tricky part, there was a significant difference between those that played M games and gamers who steered clear of the M rating. When it came to aggressive behaviour the percentage between the players was higher in girls rather than boys.
While this research could be likened to flogging a dead horse by some, this issue has been key in determining censorship and classification both her in Australia and overseas.
