“Now, I know my memory isn't as good as it used to be, almost a decade of substance abuse that would make Hunter S. Thompson go 'slow down kid' will do that to the brain.”

E3 2008 ... it begins

News from Yug - July 15th @ 10:25am

Yes that's right, arguably the most well known gaming expo in the world has kicked off today over in Los Angeles, and will continue to run for the next 3 days. Of course we're excited, and we'll go through the motions. First up are the big three (Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony) doing their keynotes, trying to outdo one another. Who will get voted off the island this year I wonder.

For the regular readers, I'm sure you're well aware of our policy when it comes to covering these events ... and that tends to be us waiting for someone else to do it. And in keeping with past traditions, I'm going to suggest a bunch of websites with great E3 coverage where all of us, myself included, will keep a watchful eye for the next few days.

E3expo.com
GameSpot.com
GameSpy.com
IGN.com
GameTrailers.com
PALGN.com.au
GameArena.com.au

We'll also be doing a daily 'wrap-up' of the highlights and parts of E3 that are of interest to us each day, so stay tuned!!
