Like the little elf that saved Christmas (albeit a week late), Metallica's Lars Ulrich has reportedly saved Slayer from being omitted from the latest Guitar Hero cashgrab game.
Speaking to a magazine that I believed would be extinct by now, Lars said "We stood up for Slayer, and we finally got Slayer cleared like a week ago".

Personally, I'm confused. Wasn't Slayer featured in previous versions of Guitar Hero? Can we not play Slayer songs on our plastic guitars now? Is this something about the Jihad? Do I need to check under my car for bombs now that I've said Jihad? Is writing Jihad on your moderately performing independent gaming website enough to get us a listing on Kevin Rudd's intertube filter? I'm open to answers and further discourse in the forum thread attached to this article.
