Windows 7 is out! Actually, no it's not, unless you're one of Microsoft's Beta Testers or you've stolen the operating system, like you would a car. I'm not a Beta Tester, but I have stolen the Beta Version of Windows 7 from the Googletubes so as to provide this in depth look.
I may be going to jail (spelt this way for our US readers) for funding terrorists, but it's worth it to know that Quake 3 will run on Windows 7. In fact, the only differences I can see from Vista is that the Device Manager has been broken and you get some new wallpapers. I can't wait to upgrade!

I now have windows 7 beta I was sent a link earlier on today from the wonderful microsoft peoples.
It is so much like vista it even has the sound card driver problem (it thinks my sound card is a generic HD sound card which it isn't) that I had with vista. Copy and paste job anyone ?
Bring back Dos 7.0! (or what ever the last version was.. I can't remember that far back)
or I could just use dos box.. either way 
Linux actually has a program that runs Windows like an .exe. Its awsome was having a look around and it is just FTFW.
I agree that's why I gave up on it.
Beta comes out soonish I think, as the probable release date is around june/july
