The Adventures of Tintin - or - Uncharted 3 with a Ranga

Myself and Mr Luke attended a screening of the upcoming Adventures of Tintin movie today and also got some hands on with the upcoming Gameloft developed movie tie in game for mobile devices.

I'm constantly surprised by the graphics current mobile devices are capable of churning out, possibly because I spend the majority of my mobile gaming time playing traditional looking titles like Jetpack Joyride (6,092m is my high score, can anyone beat that?).

The game seems to follow the levels from the movie pretty closely, allowing you to play as Tintin, Snowy, Haddock and Sir Francis Haddock in some flashback sequences.

For my money, both the movie and the game feel beat for beat like a version of Uncharted 3 for a younger demographic (desert plane crash, fighting through a ship, quests for ancient artifacts that relate to the protagonists descendants), but that's hardly a bad comparison.

Gameplay is a fixed camera third person style, though it mixes things up with stealth, puzzles, swordfights, flying, and ... camel racing.

The game will be available for iPhone, iPad, Android phones & tablets on November 15th.
