Go Back in Time with Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection!
News from Mirne - Wednesday, 14 December 2011 @ 12:59am
Some of you might remember these games a little more clearly than me. When I was younger, my brother and I steered towards the relatively more tame Rival Schools and Tekken series, rather than the at-the-time gore fest of Mortal Kombat.
Especially considering I was 1 at the time of the original arcade release.
But now that I'm older, wiser, and probably won't get scared at the violence in the same way I did when I had to shut my eyes while watching my brother play Street Fighter 2 because the beat-up faces of those who lost were pretty gruesome to a 5 year old - I may give this a go.
For those a little more familiar, here's the press release:
For $14.45 on PSN, the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection offers fans the first three games in the series – the original Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 – and online play, leader boards, achievements and trophies, as well as the chance to play through the games in their original arcade state. Developed by Other Ocean in conjunction with NetherRealm Studios, this collection marks the first time all three games have been brought together in one package.
And the trailer:
Actually, now that I think about it, I was more a Motor Kombat person myself...
